Sacred Geometry & The Figure

"Sacred Geometry & the Figure" is a series of six drawings done in graphite pencil that explore the effects of shapes and other unanimated objects on the human consciousness. Certain shapes are said to have symbolic and sometimes spiritual significance. The Circle, for instance, is used to symbolize new beginnings, transformation, and the ending of an old cycle and beginning of a new one. The triangle itself is also known to have symbolic spiritual significance. Triangles are used to symbolize the balance and imbalance of mind, body, and soul. It is also known to facilitate dreams, and visions.
